As we all know, Basma makes delicious home cooked meals for hundreds of soldiers each week. What you may not know is that the days volunteers don’t come to help, Basma uses her own money to cover the costs of making these meals. Given that hardly any tourists make it to her restaurant during these difficult times, she is depleting her savings to cover the costs and she won’t be able to sustain this beautiful project indefinitely.
