Alternative Break
Summer Trip: August 8 - 16, 2022
Winter Trip: December 25, 2022 - January 1, 2023
Spend a week making an impact by volunteering in Israel with children, the environment, people with special needs, and minority communities.
JNF-USA has been running Alternative Break trips to Israel for over 15 years. We have brought 2,700 college students and young adults ages 18-24 to get their hands dirty while making a difference for the land and people of Israel.
Trip participants meet at Newark Liberty International Airport and fly together to Israel as a group. Each day of the trip is comprised of volunteering, touring, education, and independent time in the evenings and on Shabbat. Each participant is responsible for raising a minimum of $1,200 from at least 5 unique donors for JNF-USA's Go North Campaign. Once you reach your fundraising minimum, JNF-USA covers your round-trip flight to Israel, accommodations, most meals, and medical insurance.
How It Works:
1. Register for the trip of your choice.
2. Set up your fundraising page and meet your fundraising goal.
