I am excited to be participating in the Dream Israel Teen Initiative and raising funds for important projects in Israel.
I am proudly focusing on raising money for environmental studies programs at leading centers in Israel: The Arava Institute for Environmental Studies, Arava International Center for Agricultural Training (AICAT) and Center for Creative Ecology at Kibbutz Lotan. These programs are preparing future leaders from Israel, Palestine, Jordan, and around the world to cooperatively solve the regional and global challenges of our time. They reserach and develop cutting-edge agricultural techniques for farming in arid climates including organic farming, permaculture, natural architecture, alternative energy, while promoting community and peace building strategies.
If I meet my fundraising goal, JNF will provide me with a grant towards my upcoming semester at the Alexander Muss High School in Israel, ensuring my opportunity to meet Israelis whose lives have been changed due to our support, and to explore my own connection to the land and people of Israel.
