Team Israel will be one of only six teams competing for a baseball medal at the Olympics next month. Our good friend, Eric Holtz, is the head coach of the team!

The team is chasing a dream and needs our help getting to Tokyo. The roster is made up of Israelis, US minor leaguers and a few ex-major leaguers. This will be the first time in 45 years that an Israeli team has qualified in any sport, and only the second team ever to go. (In 1976, Israel’s soccer team competed in Montreal.)

Coach Holtz is a baseball wizard and great human. He has been a mentor and coach to our son, Adam. We were going to host a fundraiser at our home to meet the coach and some team members, but COVID-19 put an end to that, so…
