Tu Bishvat in Schools
Celebrate Tu BiShvat
with Jewish National Fund-USA
Jewish National Fund-USA provides special opportunities to enhance the way you celebrate Tu BiShvat and connect to the land and people of Israel. We proudly think of Tu BiShvat, the world's first Earth Day, as JNF-USA's holiday, as it embodies our dedication to Israel's environment.
This year, we invite your school to participate in our Tree Planting Challenge! We encourage you to invite your families to each plant a tree in Israel. Schools that reach $1,000 in trees planted will receive a personalized plaque to hang in their school, showing our gratitude for your support.
Running a Tree Campaign for Your School or Organization
Jewish National Fund-USA has planted over 265 million trees in Israel. While this is an impressive achievement, there is always a need for more, due to natural forest regrowth, forest fires, and arson. We encourage every student to help continue to build up Israel by planting one or more trees. Read about last year's campaign!Learn more at education@jnf.org
