After winning the Men’s European SE Cup in 2024, Team Misgav has advanced to compete in the Men’s Softball European Super Cup from August 24-30 in South Bohemia, Czech Republic.
The European Super Cup is the premier club championship tournament for men's fastpitch in Europe. Organized annually by WBSC Europe, it brings together the top national club champions from across the continent to compete for the European title. As the most prestigious tournament on the continent, it attracts elite, world-class stars from all over the globe. Known for its intense, high-stakes atmosphere, the Super Cup represents the absolute pinnacle of competition and the highest level a club team from Israel can possibly reach.
More than just a sports tournament, Team Misgav plays with a profound purpose, carrying the memory and playing in honor of Segev Kizhner, our friend who was killed in the tragic October 7th massacre. Alongside him, we play in memory of Asi Sama. A Nahal warrior, Asi was beloved for his infectious smile, humor, and unmatched willpower before he fell in battle in November 2023. Guided by his lifelong motto, "Be stronger than your excuse," every inning played and every run scored will be dedicated to their memory.
