In 2019 I hung up my cleats following my senior season at UC San Diego with the thought that my playing career had come to an end. Right after graduation, I was working full time as a Sports Information Director at UC San Diego as the main media contact for the softball team, remaining closely involved with a sport that had provided so much for me.

I was given the opportunity to try out for the Israel National Team in December of 2021 and was overwhelmed with gratitude upon being selected the following January. Not only would I have the chance to play the game again, but be able to merge two important pieces of my identity together.

I represented Team Israel in the 2022 Maccabiah Games where we took home the gold medal for the first time in history. Later that summer, Team Israel competed in the 2022 European Championship, finishing top six among the best teams and countries in all of Europe.

This summer we will compete in the 2023 Canada Cup held in Vancouver and are looking for generous contributions to help towards travel expenses, hotels, meals, equipment and more! Most importantly, it will help advance the Jewish National Fund’s support for Team Israel as we pursue our dreams of competing in the Olympics in 2028 and develop the softball infrastructure in Israel for future generations.
